Lennox Lewis Short biography
Lennox Claudius Lewis, CM CBE (born September 2, 1965) is a legendary British-Canadian boxing commentator and former professional boxer who competed from 1989 to 2003. Holding dual citizenship, Lewis built an impressive career, becoming the last undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.
Born in West Ham, London, to Jamaican parents, Lewis moved to Canada as a child. He displayed athletic talent early, excelling in both football and basketball. However, it was in boxing that he found his true calling, winning the gold medal in the super-heavyweight division at the 1988 Seoul Olympics.
Lewis turned professional shortly after, embarking on a dominant career that saw him capture the WBC, WBA, IBF, and IBO heavyweight titles. He faced and defeated some of the most formidable names in boxing, including Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield, etching his name in the sport's history.
