Ric Flair is an American professional actor, and retired wrestler. He is considered to be one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time. Flair has won numerous championships throughout his career, including 16 world championships. He is also a two-time WWE Hall of Famer.
Flair was born in Memphis, Tennessee, on February 25, 1949. He was adopted and his birth name is Fred Phillips. Flair began his wrestling career in 1972 and quickly rose to prominence. He won his first world championship in 1981 and went on to win 15 more world championships over the next two decades.
Flair is known for his flamboyant personality and his signature catchphrase, "Wooo!". He is also known for his rivalry with Hulk Hogan, which is considered to be one of the greatest rivalries in wrestling history.
Flair retired from wrestling in 2012, but he continues to make occasional appearances. He is also the owner of the wrestling promotion Ric Flair's Last Match.
