Tyson Fury Short biography
Tyson Fury, born Tyson Luke Fury on August 12, 1988, is a British professional boxer who currently holds the World Boxing Council (WBC) heavyweight title. He has also held the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and Ring magazine heavyweight titles, becoming the second heavyweight champion in history, after Riddick Bowe, to achieve the feat.
Born in Wythenshawe, Manchester, Fury comes from a family with a strong boxing pedigree. His father, John "Gypsy" Fury, was a professional boxer in the 1980s, and his cousin, Andy Lee, was a WBO middleweight champion. Fury himself began boxing at the age of 10 and quickly rose through the amateur ranks, winning multiple Irish and British national titles.
