Jason Bateman is an American actor, director, and producer. He is best known for his roles as Michael Bluth in the sitcom Arrested Development, Marty Byrde in the crime drama series Ozark, and Nick Goode in the horror comedy film Game Night. Bateman has also appeared in films such as Teen Wolf Too, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, Juno, The Switch, and Horrible Bosses.
Bateman was born in Rye, New York, on January 14, 1969. He began his acting career as a child, appearing in commercials and television shows. He had his breakthrough role in the sitcom Silver Spoons, which ran from 1982 to 1984. Bateman continued to appear in television shows and films throughout the 1980s and 1990s, but it was his role as Michael Bluth in Arrested Development that brought him widespread recognition.
