Fabrizio Freda Short biography
Fabrizio Freda is an Italian business executive who has served as the president and chief executive officer of The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. since 2009. He previously held the position of president and chief operating officer at the company, and was president of Procter & Gamble's Global Snacks division.
Freda was born in Naples, Italy, and graduated from the University of Naples Federico II in 1981. He joined Procter & Gamble in 1982 and spent 10 years in the health and beauty division. He joined The Estée Lauder Companies in 2008.
Under Freda's leadership, The Estée Lauder Companies has seen significant growth. The company's net sales have increased from $10.3 billion in 2009 to $16.2 billion in 2022. Freda has also overseen the expansion of the company's product portfolio and its global presence.
