Kasper Rorsted Short biography
Kasper Rorsted is a Danish businessman who has been the CEO of Adidas since 2016. He previously served as the CEO of Henkel from 2008 to 2016. Rorsted is known for his focus on innovation and digital transformation. Under his leadership, Adidas has launched a number of successful products, including the Boost running shoe and the Yeezy sneaker line.
Rorsted was born in Denmark in 1962. He earned a degree in economics from the University of Copenhagen and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He began his career at Procter & Gamble, where he worked for 17 years. In 2005, he joined Henkel as the head of its laundry and home care business. Three years later, he was promoted to CEO.
Rorsted is a strong advocate for sustainability. He has set a goal for Adidas to become carbon neutral by 2050. He is also a member of the World Economic Forum's Global Future Council on the New Economy and Society.
