Brian Niccol Short biography
Brian Niccol is an American businessman who has served as the CEO of Chipotle Mexican Grill since 2018. Prior to joining Chipotle, Niccol was the CEO of Taco Bell.
Niccol is credited with turning around the fortunes of both Chipotle and Taco Bell. He has implemented a number of changes at both companies, including improving the quality of the food, remodeling the restaurants, and expanding the menu.
Niccol is a graduate of the University of Southern California. He began his career in the restaurant industry as a manager at Taco Bell. He quickly rose through the ranks, and was named CEO of Taco Bell in 2015.
Niccol is a strong advocate for the restaurant industry. He is a member of the board of directors of the National Restaurant Association. He is also a frequent speaker at industry events.
