Virat Kohli Short biography
Kohli was born in Delhi, India, on November 5, 1988, into a Punjabi Hindu family. His father, Prem Kohli, was a criminal lawyer and his mother, Saroj Kohli, served as a housewife. He has an older brother, Vikas, and an older sister, Bhavna.
Kohli lost his father to a brain stroke in 2006, which was a difficult time for him. He credits his family, especially his mother, for supporting him through this difficult period.
Kohli studied at Vishal Bharti Public School in Delhi. He was an excellent student and excelled in academics. However, his passion for cricket always came first.
Kohli is married to Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma. The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in Italy in December 2017. They have a daughter, Vamika, who was born in January 2021.
