Tony Leung Chiu-wai (born June 27, 1962) is a Hong Kong actor and singer. He is one of the most successful and internationally recognized Asian actors, having won numerous awards for his work, including the Cannes Film Festival award for Best Actor for his performance in Wong Kar-wai's film In the Mood for Love. Leung is known for his collaborations with Wong Kar-wai, having starred in seven of his films, and for his versatility, having played a wide range of roles, from romantic leads to complex antiheroes.
