Charlie Heaton is an English actor and musician. He is best known for his role as Jonathan Byers in the Netflix science fiction horror series Stranger Things. Heaton has also starred in films such as As You Are, Marrowbone, The New Mutants, No Future, and The Souvenir Part II.
Heaton was born in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England, on February 6, 1994. He began his career as a musician, playing in several bands before transitioning to acting. Heaton has no formal acting training, but he has quickly become one of the most sought-after young actors in Hollywood.
