Geraint Thomas Short biography
Geraint Howell Thomas, OBE (born May 25, 1986) is a Welsh professional racing cyclist competing for UCI WorldTeam Ineos Grenadiers. He is one of the few contemporary cyclists to achieve significant success in both track and road cycling. Thomas is a two-time Olympic gold medalist (2008, 2012) and three-time Track World Champion (2007, 2008, 2012) in the team pursuit. On the road, he is best known for winning the 2018 Tour de France, becoming the first Welshman and third Briton to achieve this feat.
