Primoz Roglic Short biography
Primož Roglič (born 29 October 1989) is a Slovenian professional road racing cyclist who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Team Jumbo–Visma. Roglič is a three-time Vuelta a España winner, having won the race in 2019, 2020, and 2021. He is also a two-time Tour de France runner-up, finishing second in 2020 and 2022.
Roglič began his cycling career in 2013, and quickly established himself as one of the most promising young riders in the world. He won the Tour de l'Avenir in 2015, and followed that up with victory in the Vuelta a España in 2019. Roglič has also won the Tour de Romandie twice, in 2018 and 2019.
Roglič is a versatile rider who is capable of winning on all types of terrain. He is a strong climber, time trialist, and sprinter. He is also a skilled tactician and has a knack for winning close races.
Roglič is one of the most successful cyclists in the world today. He has won multiple Grand Tours, as well as numerous other races. He is also a two-time Olympic medalist, having won silver in the time trial at the 2016 and 2020 Olympic Games.
