Catherine Ndereba Short biography
Catherine Nyambura Ndereba (born July 21, 1972) is a retired Kenyan marathon runner. Ndereba dominated the marathon scene in the early 2000s, achieving podium finishes at major championships with remarkable consistency. Nicknamed "Catherine the Great," she is particularly celebrated for her four victories at the Boston Marathon and her two World Championship gold medals.
