Brigid Kosgei Short biography
Brigid Jepchirchir Kosgei (born February 20, 1994) is a Kenyan long-distance runner who specializes in the marathon. Hailing from Elgeyo-Marakwet County, Kenya, Kosgei comes from a family of runners; her sister Pamela is a steeplechase athlete. Kosgei began running at the age of 17, training alongside her boyfriend and now husband, Matthew Kosgei.
