Tracy Morgan Short biography
Tracy Morgan is an American actor, comedian, writer, and producer. He is best known for his roles as Tracy Jordan on the NBC sitcom 30 Rock and as Tracy Morgan on the TBS sitcom The Last O.G. Morgan has also appeared in numerous films, including Half Baked, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and Death at a Funeral.
Morgan was born in The Bronx, New York City, and raised in the Tompkins Houses housing project. He began his career as a stand-up comedian in the early 1990s, and joined the cast of Saturday Night Live in 1996. Morgan left SNL in 2003, and went on to star in his own sitcom, The Tracy Morgan Show, which aired for one season.
In addition to his work in television and film, Morgan has also released two comedy albums and a memoir, I Am the New Black.
