Eddie Griffin is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and producer. He is best known for his stand-up comedy specials, his roles in films such as Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo and Undercover Brother, and his television series Malcolm & Eddie. Griffin has also appeared in a number of other films and television shows, and has released several comedy albums.
Griffin was born in Kansas City, Missouri, and raised in Compton, California. He began his career as a stand-up comedian in the late 1980s, and quickly gained recognition for his sharp wit and observational humor. In the early 1990s, Griffin began appearing in films and television shows, and in 1996, he landed his own sitcom, Malcolm & Eddie. The show ran for four seasons and was a critical and commercial success.
