Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is a Danish actor and producer born on July 27, 1970, in Rudkøbing, Denmark. He graduated from the Danish National School of Performing Arts in Copenhagen in 1993. After his breakthrough role in the Danish film "Nightwatch" (1994), he went on to build a successful career in both Danish and international productions. His most notable role is arguably Jaime Lannister in the critically acclaimed HBO series "Game of Thrones," for which he received two Primetime Emmy Award nominations.
