Brian Cox Short biography
Brian Cox is a Scottish actor, director, producer, and writer. He is best known for his roles as Logan Roy in the HBO series Succession, Hannibal Lecktor in the 1986 film Manhunter, and William Stryker in the X-Men film series. Cox has won a Golden Globe Award, two Primetime Emmy Awards, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Cox was born in Dundee, Scotland, on June 1, 1946. He began his acting career in the early 1970s, appearing in small roles in British television and film productions. He gained wider recognition in the 1980s for his roles in films such as Manhunter, Rob Roy, and Braveheart. Cox has continued to work steadily in film and television throughout his career, appearing in over 200 roles.
