Casey Affleck Short biography
Casey Affleck is an American actor, film director, screenwriter, and producer. He is the younger brother of actor Ben Affleck. Affleck first gained recognition for his role in Gus Van Sant's 1995 film To Die For. He went on to star in several independent films, including Lonesome Jim (2006), The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (2007), and Gone Baby Gone (2007). Affleck made his directorial debut with the 2010 mockumentary I'm Still Here. He won the Academy Award for Best Actor in 2017 for his performance in Manchester by the Sea drama.
