Armie Hammer is an American actor known for his roles in films such as The Social Network, Call Me by Your Name, and The Man from U.N.C.L.E..
Hammer began his acting career with guest appearances in several television series, including Arrested Development and Gossip Girl. He made his film debut in the 2006 film Flicka.
Hammer's breakthrough role came in the 2010 film The Social Network, in which he played the Winklevoss twins. He has since starred in a number of films, including J. Edgar (2011), Mirror Mirror (2012), The Lone Ranger (2013), and Nocturnal Animals (2016).
In 2017, Hammer starred in the critically acclaimed film Call Me by Your Name, for which he received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actor. He also starred in the 2018 film On the Basis of Sex, in which he played Martin D. Ginsburg, the husband of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Hammer has also appeared in several Broadway productions, including Straight White Men (2018). In 2021, he starred in the Netflix film Rebecca and the Kenneth Branagh-directed film Death on the Nile.
