Marcelo Short biography
Marcelo Vieira da Silva Júnior, known as Marcelo, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a left back for Greek club Olympiacos and the Brazil national team. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest left-backs of all time.
Marcelo began his career at Fluminense before moving to Real Madrid in 2007. He spent 15 seasons with Real Madrid, winning 25 major trophies, including five Champions League titles and six La Liga titles. He is Real Madrid's most decorated player of all time.
Marcelo made his debut for the Brazil national team in 2006 and has since earned over 50 caps. He was a member of the Brazil squad that won the 2007 Copa América and the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup.
