Ang Lee Short biography
Ang Lee is a Taiwanese filmmaker, film director, and screenwriter known for his critically acclaimed and commercially successful films. His work often explores themes of identity, family, and culture. Lee has won two Academy Awards for Best Director, for Brokeback Mountain (2005) and Life of Pi (2012), and has been nominated for nine Oscars in total. He is also the recipient of numerous other awards, including four BAFTAs, three Golden Globes, and two Golden Lions at the Venice Film Festival.
