Mo Ibrahim Short biography
Mo Ibrahim is a Sudanese-British billionaire businessman and philanthropist. He is the founder and chairman of the Mo Ibrahim Foundation, which works to promote good governance and leadership in Africa. Ibrahim is also the founder of the Mo Ibrahim Prize for Achievement in African Leadership, which awards $5 million to African heads of state who deliver security, health, education and economic development to their constituents and democratically transfer power to their successors. He has been praised for his work in Africa and has been recognized with numerous awards and honors, including the Clinton Global Citizen Award and the Eisenhower Medal for Distinguished Leadership and Service.
