Jimmy Fallon (born September 19, 1974) is an American comedian, actor, television host, singer, writer, and producer. He is best known for his work in television as a cast member on Saturday Night Live and as the host of the late-night talk show The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Fallon began his career as a stand-up comedian in New York City in the early 1990s. He joined the cast of Saturday Night Live in 1998 and quickly became one of the show's most popular cast members. He left SNL in 2004 to pursue a career in film and television.
Fallon has starred in a number of films, including Fever Pitch (2005), Factory Girl (2006), Taxi (2004), and Whip It (2009). He has also hosted a number of television shows, including Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (2009-2014) and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (2014-present).
Fallon has won numerous awards for his work, including four Primetime Emmy Awards, two Peabody Awards, and a Grammy Award. He is also a two-time Golden Globe Award nominee.
