Michael Douglas Short biography
Michael Douglas is an American actor and producer. He is the son of actor Kirk Douglas and actress Diana Dill. Douglas began his career in the 1960s, appearing in films such as Hail, Hero! and Napoleon and Samantha. He gained fame in the 1970s for his role as Detective Steve Keller in the television series The Streets of San Francisco. Douglas has since starred in a number of successful films, including One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Romancing the Stone, Fatal Attraction, Wall Street, and Traffic. He has won two Academy Awards, five Golden Globe Awards, a Primetime Emmy Award, and the AFI Life Achievement Award.
