Amy Adams Short biography
Amy Adams is an American actress known for her versatility and wide range of performances. Born in Italy to an American military family, she moved to the United States as a child and began her career in musical theater. After several small roles in film and television, she gained recognition for her supporting role in the 2005 independent film Junebug.
Adams went on to star in a number of critically and commercially successful films, including Enchanted (2007), Doubt (2008), The Fighter (2010), American Hustle (2013), Big Eyes (2014), Arrival (2016), and Vice (2018). She has received six Academy Award nominations, winning the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for American Hustle.
