Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actress, director, and producer. She has received numerous awards and accolades for her work, including an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress for her role as Tina Turner in the 1993 biopic What's Love Got to Do with It. Bassett has also appeared in several popular movies and TV shows, including Malcolm X, The Rosa Parks Story, ER, American Horror Story, and Black Panther.
