Anna Wintour is a British-American journalist and fashion icon. She has been the editor-in-chief of Vogue since 1988 and the artistic director of Condé Nast since 2020. Wintour is widely considered one of the most powerful and influential figures in the fashion industry.
Born in London in 1949, Wintour began her career in fashion journalism in the early 1970s. She worked for several British magazines before moving to New York in 1975. In 1983, she joined Vogue as a creative director, and she became editor-in-chief five years later. Under Wintour's leadership, Vogue has become one of the most successful and influential fashion magazines in the world.
