Demi Lovato is an American singer, actress, songwriter, and musician. Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Lovato began their career as a child actor, appearing in the children's television series Barney & Friends. They gained wider recognition for their role as Mitchie Torres in the Disney Channel television film Camp Rock and its sequel, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. Lovato has since released eight studio albums, embarked on multiple concert tours, and starred in several films and television shows.
