Josephine Skriver Karlsen is a Danish fashion model born on April 14, 1993, in Copenhagen, Denmark. She rose to prominence in the fashion industry after making her modeling debut in 2011. Skriver has since become known for her work with Victoria's Secret, having been an Angel for the brand from 2016 to 2019. She has also graced the covers of numerous magazines, including Vogue, Elle, and Harper's Bazaar.
Skriver is an advocate for LGBTQ rights and has spoken openly about her own family's experience. Her mother is a lesbian, and her father is gay; Skriver and her younger brother were conceived through in vitro fertilization.
