Candice Swanepoel Short biography
Candice Susan Swanepoel (born 20 October 1988) is a South African model. She is best known for her work with Victoria's Secret and for being a Victoria's Secret Angel from 2010 to 2017. Swanepoel has also appeared in editorials for major fashion magazines, such as Vogue, Elle, and Harper's Bazaar.
Born in Mooi River, KwaZulu-Natal, Swanepoel was discovered by a model scout at a flea market when she was 15 years old. She quickly gained recognition for her striking features, including her pale blue eyes and plump lips. Swanepoel has since gone on to become one of the most successful models in the world, working with some of the biggest names in fashion, including Chanel, Christian Dior, Ralph Lauren, and Dolce & Gabbana.
In addition to her modeling career, Swanepoel has also launched her own swimwear line, Tropic of C. She is also actively involved in philanthropy, working with organizations such as mothers2mothers, which works to prevent the transmission of HIV from mothers to their children in South Africa.
