Petra Nemcova is a Czech model, television host, author, and philanthropist. Born on June 24, 1979, in Karviná, Czech Republic, she rose to fame after surviving the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami. Nemcova has modeled for Sports Illustrated and other major brands, hosted TV shows, and is known for her philanthropy work. She founded the Happy Hearts Fund, a charity organization dedicated to supporting children in disaster-stricken areas.
