Stevin John, better known by his stage name Blippi, is an American children's entertainer and educator, renowned for creating and portraying the character Blippi on his eponymous YouTube channel. Born on May 27, 1988, in Ellensburg, Washington, John grew up in a rural setting, fostering a deep curiosity about the world around him. He served in the United States Air Force as a C-17 loadmaster before venturing into children's entertainment. Inspired by the subpar quality of children's content he observed, John launched the Blippi character in 2014, aiming to provide high-quality, educational, and engaging content for young children.
